Rejoicing In Hussein's Capture T he capture of fugitive Iraqi dicta- tor Saddam Hussein on Dec. 13 was meaningful not only to those living in Iraq. Local Jewish Iraqis recall the horrific discriminatory treatment they received under his regime, and rejoiced in his capture. They also recall times when many Jews lived in Iraq and participated in a rich Jewish culture. Good memories, too, come back for Chaldeans and other local Iraqis living in the Detroit area.
