Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Adam Isaac Cole will read from the
Torah on the occasion of his bar mitzvah
Saturday, Dec. 13, during Havdalah
services at Temple Israel. His parents are
Rebecca and Steven
Cole. He is the brother
of Kevin, Jaclyn and
Daniel and the grand-
son of Laura and
Arthur Cole and
Deanna and Robert
Farrah.
An honor student at
West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills, Adam
helped at Karmanos Cancer Institute,
setting up for the Partners Ball. He also
helped at Yad Ezra in Berkley as part of
his mitzvah projects.

Seth Daniel Greenberg will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah Saturday,
Dec. 13, at Congregation Shir Tilcvah.
He is the son of Gail and Howard .
Greenberg and brother of Tamara.
Proud grandparents are Philip and Libby
Greenberg and Shirley
Nachman. He is also
the grandson of the
late Sheldon
Nachman.
Seth attends Norup
Middle School in Oak.
Park. He has been
involved in many com-
munity service proj-
ects, including those with Boy Scout
Troop 1032. His most meaningful mitz-
vah project was putting together toy
drives for the Leukemia and Lymphoma
Society.

Rachel Keidan will celebrate her bat
mitzvah at Temple Israel Saturday, Dec.
13. She is the daughter of Betsy and
Richard Keidan and sister of Micah. Her
excited grandmother is
Barbara Keidan. She is
also the grandchild of
the late Herbert
Keidan.
Attending West Hills
Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills,
Rachel felt it especially
important, as part of her mitzvah proj-
ects, to help children who are handi-
capped learn how to horseback ride; she
also volunteered at Temple Israel's Labor
Day picnic.

Lauren Audrey Kepes, daughter of Fern
and Brian Kepes, will read from the
Torah at Havdalah services Saturday,
Dec. 13, at Congregation Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. She is the sister of Max.
Proud grandparents are Eileen and Paul
Hoberman and Lee and Stewart Kepes.

Middle School. For
her mitzvah projects,
she worked on special
events for Southfield-
based Kadima, helped
package food for distri-
bution at Gleaners
food bank in Detroit, participated in the
Pet-a-Pet program, and donated money
to the Michigan State University
Companion Fund and to A Small
Miracle.

Denise and Allan Light, will celebrate
her bat mitzvah Saturday, Dec. 13, at
Temple Israel. She is
the sister of Sarah,
Jordan and Hannah.

the late Sandra Frame.

after-school projects and helped at
Hadassah to make dolls for children as
part of her mitzvah project.

Torah on the occasion of his bar mitzvah
Friday, Dec. 12, at Temple Israel. He is
the brother of Justin. His proud grand-
parents are Nancy and

also the grandson of
the late Helen and
Nicholas Yiataganas.
Jonathan attends
Orchard Lake Middle
School in West
Bloomfield, where he is
an honor student. His most meaningful
mitzvah project was the Just 4 Kids pro-
gram, where he helped autistic children
bowl. He also helped at Temple Israel's
Labor Day picnic.
