The Detroit Institute of Arts
honored longtime patrons

which are granted to individ-
uals, corporations or founda-
tions that have demonstrated
exemplary, long-term com-
mitment to the museum.
The best work of Detroit-area
architects was sent to Georgia
to be critiqued by a jury of
Atlanta architects. Among
those chosen for a prize were
Private Residence in Bingham
Farms by Neumann/Smith
Associates and Synagogue
Lubavitch Campus of Living
Judaism by Luckenbach/
Ziegelman Architects PLLC.
The residence is a historic
structure with an addition.
The synagogue is the first
building constructed on the
40-acre campus, considered
by the jury as a "landmark
building."
