Bush in Dearborn on Dec. 1. "I felt that he's been such a good friend of Israel, that we as a Jewish community need to come out and show support," he said. After a speech that touched on the economy, the war in Iraq and the war on terrorism, Bush worked the line, shaking hands. When someone in the group thanked President Bush for supporting Israel, Jacob was surprised to see him stop and talk. "He lit up and said, 'I believe that progress will be made in the region. People need to have the taste for free- dom,"' said Jacob. "Then he paused and said, 'But Israel must have its security.'" "He was so sincere, you can tell his love for Israel comes from deep inside his kishkes," Jacob said. Bryce Sandler, finance director for Rep. Joe Knollenberg, R-Bloomfield Hills, listened in. "He said some presidents are inter- ested in trying to win Nobel Peace Prizes, but he's actually interested in trying to create peace," Sandler said. "He feels an important part of that is to create democracy in a region of the world where there's very little democracy. The president said that was a very important way to stabilize the region, and to reduce terrorism and provide security for both our country and Israel." — Member Michigan Home Health Association Medical Kabbalah Power Bush Backs Israel - Website: http://www.excellacare.com • 20853 Farmington Road • Farmington Hills 48336 7a2350 • Israel Mystical Tours • Improve your Marriage, Finances a Happiness • Find your Soulmate • Classes, Books 8- Seminars 646-261-5610 www.jewishinfo.org President Bush Harry Kirsbaum
