Other Gilgul presentations have
been at Brandeis University, the
University of British Columbia and
the University of Wisconsin. It is part
of the curriculum in American Jewish
Literature at the State University of
New York in Albany and the Institute
of Women's Studies in San Diego.
Roisman's other plays include

Scenes From a Seder, Changing
Rooms, Children of the Exodus,
Chanukah Rap and Leaving Egypt.
Her next script has to do with
Jewish rescue during World War II.
"Serious moments in Nobody's Gilgul
explore selfish versus unselfish
actions," says Stan Newman, who
plays one of the three rabbis and has
appeared in a staged reading for JET.
"The script gives men some insights
into women."

Nobody's Gilgul runs Dec. 3-Jan.
4 at the Jewish Community
Center in West Bloomfield.
Curtain times are 7:30 p.m.
Wednesdays-Thursdays, 8 p.m.
Saturdays, and 2 and 7:30 p.m.
Sundays. There will be extra
matinees 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 17 (no
evening performance), and 2
p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24. $20-
$32/discounts available for sen-
iors and students.
There will be two perform-
ances on New Year's Eve,
Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 6 and
9:30 p.m., with champagne,
refreshments and more. Prices
to be announced.
