the daughter of

great-grandparents are Alice and

Eric Paul Tugender, son of Elyse
Tugender and the late David
Tugender, will celebrate his bar mitz-
vah Saturday, Nov.

He is the brother

She is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield. Her mitzvah proj-
ects are donating money to the
Make-a-Wish Foundation and help-
ing to make teddy bears to fill an
ambulance for Israel. She also volun-
teered time at the Shaarey Zedek
Laker Center and worked with autis-
tic children at Orchard Lake Middle
School.

Laura Elizabeth Corlin will become
a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 8,
in Highland Ranch, Colo. She is the
daughter of

Highland Ranch
and granddaughter
of Sherwin and
Charlotte Corlin

Bloomfield and
Dr. Joel and
Margaret Fleet of
Jacksonville, Fla. Laura is named in
memory of her great-grandparents
Leonard and Rae Cohen.
Laura is a student at Rick's Center
for Gifted Children. For her bat
mitzvah project, she matched her
baby-sitting earnings with her sav-
ings and donated to the Jewish
Children's Adoption Network.
