He purchased a high performance

Edge." He continually upgraded his
boats, all named "Leading Edge," and

M Club in 1996-97.
"I'm quite honored," said Fishman.
"I'm not the player my dad was, but it's
nice to be inducted into the same insti-

races. He won the fleet twice, his class 8
times, and had 13 second-place and 11
third-place finishes.
His other

Great Lakes in

fame career, but the fact that I'm in there
has more to do with the coaches and
players I was
with."

years ago,
when he
turned 51,
Fishman
continued
to play bas-
ketball and
softball in
recreation
league open
divisions.

Today, he's
content
with playing basketball against his son
Eric, 12. "Eric's tough," Fishman said.
