Rabbi Herbert Yoskowitz of Adat Shalom Synagogue will explore the contradictions in the famous biblical personality. The lectures are set for 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, and Wednesday, Nov. 19. Feng Shui And The Jewish Way Congregation B'nai Moshe Sisterhood will present "Feng Shui and the Jewish Way" 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, at the synagogue. The Chinese art of balancing the energy will be used to create a Jewish atmosphere in the home. Guest lecturer will be Barbara Eisenberg, a clinical social worker with a practice in Birmingham. She has been a landscape designer and art teacher and a docent with the Detroit Institute of Arts. She recently trained in China with a Feng Shui master. Jacqueline Goldstein will be the second presenter. She has a nursing degree with a minor in fine arts and teaches at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center.
