engagement of her daughter
Melissa Beth to Daniel Joshua Fellman,
son of Beverly and Richard Fellman of
Omaha, Neb. Melissa is also the
daughter of the late Charles Ellstein.
The bride-to-be is working on a
master's degree in social work at Wayne
State University in Detroit.
The future bridegroom earned his
master's degree in Hebrew letters and is
working toward rabbinic ordination at
the Hebrew Union College-Jewish
Institute of Religion in Cincinnati.
A June wedding is planned in
Detroit.

riage of their son Michael Shulman to
Carissa Osburn, daughter of Sue and
Tom Osburn. Michael and Carissa were
married at Tam O'Shanter Country
Club in West Bloomfield by Rabbi
Dannel Schwartz and cantorial soloist
Penny Styer of Temple Shir Shalom.
Carissa and Michael have been study-
ing with Rabbi Schwartz and Rabbi
Michael Moskowitz; in August, Carissa
received the blessings of our faith as she
completed her conversion to Judaism.
She was given the Jewish name of
Nauma Chokava. With great respect,
