Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Melanie Sue Borson, daughter of

Carol and Dr. Rick Borson, will cel-
ebrate her bat mitzvah Friday, Oct.
31, at Temple Israel. She is the sister
of Jodi, Allison and Ilana and the
grandchild of Janet and Dr. Fred
Borson and
Shirley Weiner.
She is also the
grandchild of the
late Fran Borson
and the late Dr.
Lawrence Weiner.
Attending
Orchard Lake
Middle School in
West Bloomfield,
Melanie chose as her mitzvah proj-
ects to help at Yad Ezra in Berkley
and to plant a tree in Israel honor-
ing the late Ilan Ramon.

Connection. He also helped at the
Temple Israel Labor Day picnic.
