TILLIE R SCHLAGER, 96, of Ann
Arbor, died Oct. 14, 2003. She belonged
to Temple Beth El, was a bookkeeper and
volunteered at the Jewish Home for Aged.
Mrs. Schlager is survived by her nieces
and nephews, June and Richard Swartz,
Elizabeth and Ernie Gore, Alice and Walt
Winget, Marti, Sikora, Arthur Kessler and
Jack and Harriet Bagdade. She was the
beloved wife of the late Nathan Koploy,
the late Irving Miller, the late Herbert
Schlager; dear sister of the late Mollie
Bagdade, the late Charlotte Kessler, the
late Ruth Sikora and the late Jennie
Weiner.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the Jewish
Family Services of Washtenaw County,
625 State Circle, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.

SHIRLEY TAUBMAN, 82, of Delray
Beach, Fla., died Oct. 11, 2003.
She is survived by her beloved husband,
Lester Taubman; daughter and son-in-
law, Temmer and Kim Daragen; other
children, Sharon and Robert Feldman,
Drew Taubman and Suzan Pearlstein;
brothers and sister-in-law, Mort and
Carol Zumberg of West Bloomfield,
Nathan Zumberg of Southfield; sisters
and brother-in-law, Natalie and Lester
Geisman of Delray Beach, Minnie
Adelson of Oak Park; grandchildren, Abra
and Eden Daragen. She was the dear sis-
ter of the late Jack Zumberg and the late
Esther (Lou) Gerofsky.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
