The event brought out all the local Jewish organizations. A family-friendly event, Apples and Honey included apple tasting, a Sponge Bob Square Pants jumper, an 7 obstacle slide, shofar blowing, face painting and other interactive crafts. The Maccabi team held a used book sale. The Early Childhood Center sold baked goods from Zeman's New York Bakery in Oak Park.
