Recently named Federation's new
associate director of Israel and
Overseas Services, Amy Neistein
will coordinate the 2004 Teen
Mission.
She will staff the committees for
the Parents and Children Together
(PACT) program in Netanya and
the Kiev Subcommittee.
Formerly director of Federation's
Neighborhood Project, Neistein
coordinated the 2003 Israeli
Camper Program.
Detroit is the fifth Jewish corn-
munity in which she has worked.
She received a master of arts iri
Jewish communal service from
Hebrew Union College-Jewish
Institute of Religion in Cincinnati.
Federation, in cooperation with
the Jewish News and the Michigan
Board of Rabbis, also is planning
Michigan Miracle Mission 4 to
Israel for April 18-28, 2004. So
far, more than 580 have signed up
for the adult trip.
