and ideas on how to expand her
wardrobe. "I have a couple of suit jackets
that I never bought the bottoms to, so I
didn't know how to wear them," Davis
says. "She told me I could wear the jack-
et with something else, a different mate-
rial or even a different color. She gave
me some great ideas about what I could
do."
Davis doesn't have to worry now
about dressing professionally for an
office. But in a few months she expects
to have a frill-time job.
"The problem is that I don't have a lot
of money," Davis says. "I can't afford a
$300 suit. I shop at cheaper stores, like
Marshall Fields. I would buy a couple
things here [at Nordstropm], but they
would have to be on sale, or they would
have to be something that I could really
wear out."
