among the best bargains around for
quality dining.
Entering the restaurant one sees a
large fish tank ... and "Moe's Bar" with
dimly lit blue-domed spotlights ...
while a nearby wine cellar holds about
a thousand-bottle selection.
Along with his Novi restaurant, Moe
also owns the Leon's Family Dining
restaurant in Wixom . Another eight
additional Leon's Family Dining eater-
ies are owned by his brothers, Sam and
Wally.
Each year for the past 10 years, Moe
and his brothers have opened their
Leon's restaurants to the public for a
free turkey dinner on the day before
Thanksgiving ... To date, over 100,000
people have enjoyed a free turkey din-
ner at the 10 Leon's family Dining
eateries ... Although Moe's on Ten is
not included in the group since it is no
longer a Leon's restaurant, his Wixom
Leon's is again part of the annual cus-
tomer-thanking tradition.
Many people have soft spots for good
family dining because of the stability
contained in good home-style cooking,
comfortable atmosphere and budget
prices.
The concept of upper-scale family
dining coupled with fresh seafood that
makes up Moe's on Ten Seafood Grill is
choice ... This wonderful eating-out
adventure is surely one of our region's
better little dining secrets.
FINALLY ... BUT as expected ...
although not so soon after opening in
February of 2002 ... George Golematis
has increased space and seating at
Giorgio's Gourmet Diner of West
Bloomfield in Sugar Tree Plaza ... on
Orchard Lake Road, north of 15
Milew.
His next-door expansion has been
completed ... and is now at last open.
To go with Giorgio's former 45 seats
... including the already well-noted
counter, plus booths and a table ... is
another 35 seats.
One-third of the center wall has been
removed ... and the addition has a U-
shaped booth for 10 to 12 people, 2
round tables for eight, two booths each
seating four people, 2 booths seating
three, and three two-top tables.
Also. a beverage service station in the
newly opened sector ... plus a hostess
post between the two rooms.
