meaningful to volunteer at Jewish
Family Service's fall fix-up. He also
helped make and serve dinner at
Temple Israel during the SOS proj-
ect and he donated to 13 charities as
will be represented by the candles
on his cake.

Lauren Samantha Soltz, daughter of
Michelle and Mark Soltz and sister
of Madelyne, will
celebrate her bat
mitzvah Saturday,
Oct. 11, at
Temple Israel. Her
proud grandpar-
ents are Frances
and Ronald White
and Phyllis and
Donald Soltz.
Lauren attends
Sarah Banks Middle School in
Walled Lake. Her most meaningful
mitzvah project involved helping to
plan, prepare -and assist at a B'nai
B'rith golf outing.

Lauren Amanda Tucker will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Friday, Oct. 10, at Temple Kol
Ami. She is the daughter of Lisa and
Andy Tucker, sister of Austin and
granddaughter of
Ann Gallison,
Marsha and
Arnold Tucker.
She is also the
grandchild of the
late Harvey
Gallison.
Lauren is an
honor student at
Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills. Her
mitzvah projects included working
at Yad Ezra in Berkley and helping
teach young children gymnastics
and dance.
