He was a business development executive and from 1961-1976 the executive direc- tor of Congregation Shaarey Zedek. Mr. Danzig is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Michael and Karen Danzig of Florida, Jeffrey and Wendy Danzig of Huntington Woods; daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Dr. Mark Rubinstein of Bloomfield Hills; grand- children, Brittany and Jayme Danzig, Lauren and Robbie Liden, Danielle Danzig; brothers and sister-in-law, Steven Danzig of California, Jerry and Joy Danzig of California. He is survived by his brother and sis- ter-in-law, Benjamin and Vi Frumkin of Southfield; brother-in-law, Jack Eserow of Farmington Hills; sisters, Sarah Beren of Flint, Reva Wexler of Florida. He was the husband of the late Jackie Frumkin; son of the late Joseph and Bessie Frumkin; brother of the late Florence Eserow. AUBREY GORBMAN, 88, former Detroiter of Seattle, Wash., died Sept. 21, 2003. He graduated from Wayne State University in 1935, moved to Berkley, Calif, in 1938 and then earned his doctorate degree in zoology. Professor Gorbman did fellowships at Yale University and joined the zoology faculties at Barnard College and Columbia University in New York. In 1963, he and his family moved to Seattle, where he became chair of the zoology department at the University of Washington and remained as a professor until 1985. In 1998, President Clinton honored Professor Gorbman with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring. Professor Gorbman is survived by his daughters, Claudia, Beryl and Leila; son) Eric; sister. Rose Korinsky of Detroit; four grandchildren. He was the husband of the late Genevieve.
