elaborates in an interesting way, more

ond name is food ... and it just would-
n't be him without it ... So he'll talk
about the rations, stealing, etc ... while
in a ramshackle barn used as a field
hospital in Gettysburg during the Civil
War ... as he rambles back and forth to
the present.

plaque that hung in the foyer of the
synagogue.
The rabbi stood beside him and said,
"Good morning, Alex."
"Good morning, rabbi," replied the
young man, srill focused on the plaque.
"Rabbi Bernstein, what is this?"
Alex asked.
"It is a list of all the young men and
women from our shul who were in the
service," said the rabbi.
"Which one," asked little Alex,
"Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur?"

Howard Camden ... Mrs. Goldberg,
age 85, went to see a gynecologist for
the first time in her life.
She was asked to step behind a
screen and remove her clothes so the
doctor could examine her.
During the examination, Mrs.
Goldberg said, "Excuse me, doctor, can
I ask you a question?"
"Certainly," the doctor replied.
"Tell me," she said. "Your mother
knows that from this you make a
