JCC Seeks Local Authors The Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit is looking for local authors who are Jewish or have written a book with Jewish content. Forum Focus Is School Segregation The Detroit Women's Forum, a project of the American Jewish Committee, Metropolitan Detroit Chapter, will kick off its program year with the luncheon theme "What Would Linda Brown Be Doing Today If the Supreme Court Hadn't Ruled Against Segregated Schools?" The forum will meet at noon, Friday, Sept. 12, at The Whitney Restaurant, at Woodward and Canfield in Detroit. This opening meeting will feature Nancy L. Quarles, president of the South Oakland County NAACP. There is a luncheon charge of $15 for DWF members and $18 for guests. A vegetarian and dairy menu are offered.
