ISADORE BERNSTEIN, 81, of West
Bloomfield, died Aug. 27, 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia
Bernstein; sons and daughters-in-law,
Barry Bernstein of Marquette, Dr.
Richard and Lori Bernstein of Troy,
Dr. Randy and Nita Bernstein of Oak
Park, Marty and Donna Figi Bernstein
of Bloomfield Township; brother and
sister-in-law, Ralph and Marilyn
Bernstein of West Bloomfield; grand-
children, Carri Bernstein, Matthew
Bernstein, Victoria Bernstein.

ALFRED "AL' BROOK, 86, of
Southfield, died Aug. 28, 2003. He
was the founder and owner of Cadillac
Luggage and Gifts, founded over 50
years ago.
Mr. Brook was an active bowler and
a member of Tikvah B'nai B'rith
Bowling League. He was a life mem-
ber of B'nai B'rith, a past president of
the Metropolitan Detroit B'nai B'rith
Bowling Association and a member of
the board of governors of the
International B'nai B'rith Bowling
Association, of which he served as
president in 1971-1972. Mr. Brook
was presented that organization's
Service Achievement Award in 1984
and, in 1987, was recognized for 25
years of service and presented with a
Life Membership Award. Mr. Brook
and his wife were founding members
of Adat Shalom Synagogue.
He is survived by his wife of 66
years, Evelyn Brook; son and daugh-
ter-in-law, Ted and Pat Brook of
Atlanta, Ga.; daughters and sons-in-
law, Gayann Brook and Daryl Egeland
of Bloomfield Township, Esther and
Martin Gold of Farmington Hills;
grandchildren, Adam Brook, Amy and
Ivan Katz, David Brook, Loren
Egeland, Scott Gold, Jillian Gold,
Jessica Gold,; great-grandchildren,
Molly Brook, Noah Brook, Samantha
Katz. He was the loving father of the
late Larry Brook.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Services and
interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park Cemetery. Arrangements by
Hebrew Memorial Chapel.
