We Get Questions

Q: On what would have been my grand-
mother's I00th birthday, we went to the
cemetery to visit her grave. The gates were
locked, no one was there and what we could
see of the grounds looked terrible.
Is it possible to move my Zeyde and Nana?

A: That's always a personal decision, but
the answer is yes, they can be moved. A
disinterment-reinterment can take place with
the authority of the immediate next of kin.
