"I would stay with my mother," said John Slotkin, "and they would always kiss each other goodbye." Mr. Slotkin was a "remarkably sweet, decent fellow," his son said. "He never passed judgment on anyone." Mr. Slotkin is survived by his wife, Shirley Eder Slotkin; daughter, Toni Eder Slotkin of New York; and son, John Samuel Slotkin of Bloomfield Hills. He was the dear brother of the late Selma Hyman and the late Hugo Slotkin. Interment was in New York.
