The 60 years since have been both calm and harried.

Through thick and thin they have stayed together
3 kids, 6 randkids, 2 houses and all kinds of weather.

How lucky they have been-to have great grandchildren,
as well and all of their offsprings really excel.

July 20
Drs. Elaine and Barry Sandler of
Evergreen, Colo., announce with great
pride and love the birth of their first
child, Bruce Steele Sandler. Sharing in
the joy are grandparents Dr. Larry and
Linda Sandler of Wolverine Lake, Ken
Grzesiak of Irish Hills and Ardis Clark
of San Diego. Also thrilled are great-
grandparents Millie and Victor
Phillips of Midland. Bruce is named
in loving memory of his paternal uncle
Dr. Bruce Alan Sandler.

Andrea (Uditsky) and Robert Nakisher
of West Bloomfield welcome with love
their son, David Samuel (Tal Ze-ev).

David and Judy (Avrushin) Gamily
welcome with much love the birth of
their son, Benjamin Ezra. He was
greeted with hugs and kisses from 2-
year-old sister Gabrielle. Benjamin is
named in honor of his saba Ben-Tzion
Gamily and in memory of maternal
grandmother Eunice Leopold and
paternal grandfather Ezra Gamily.

Jordana Gottlieb Weiss and David
Weiss of Southfield are pleased to
announce the birth of their third little
boy, Ilan Gadiel. He was welcomed
home by loving big brothers Yonatan
Israel, 5, and Aryeh Eliezer, 2 1 /2 .
Excited grandparents are Jill Hammer
of Syracuse, N.Y.; Joel Gottlieb of

Houston, Texas; and Avra and Leslie
Weiss of West Bloomfield. Ilan is also
very blessed to be welcomed by great-
grandparents Marcia Hammer, Ruth

Daniel Joseph Chudnow will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Aug. 23, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek West Bloomfield, B'nai
Israel Center. He is the son of Edward
and Frances
Chudnow and
brother of
Benjamin and
David. Proud
grandparents are
Manny and Toby
Chudnow. He is
also the grandson
of the late
Theodore and
Helen Levine.
Daniel is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. Of his many mitzvah
projects, his most memorable are
working with the Tikvah program for
young adults with developmental dis-
abilities at Camp Ramah and volun-
teering at Camp Betman at Shaarey
Zedek.

Lindsay Mohr Colton will celebrate
her bat mitzvah on Friday, Aug. 22, at
Temple Israel. She is the daughter of
Judee and Richard Lewis and Leonard
Colton and the sister of Robyn. Her
grandparents are Ruth and Louis
Stober and Leona
Lewis. She is also
the grandchild of
the late Diane and
Sol Colton.
Lindsay attends
West Hills Middle
School in
Bloomfield Hills.
As part of her mitz-
vah projects, she
volunteered at the Heritage House in
Southfield, working with seniors, and
for four years for the Children's
Leukemia Foundation.

Zachary Aaron Fenton, son of Bonnie
and Jeff Fenton and brother of Joshua,
