MAIL DEPT ... From Jackie
Sunday, now living in Washington,
D.C. ... "We recently returned from
quiet Maine and enjoyed all kinds of
lobster. Sure was worth the 15-hour
drive to eat fresh seafood right off the
boat. We went to a small restaurant
where the locals told us about a little
spot that was the best place to get
breakfast. We had a really tasty lobster
omelet that I'll never forget. Imagine,
lobster and eggs! 'What I miss most
about Michigan is the great restaurants.
There are so many that I often think
about.
From Jack Gold in West Palm Beach,
Fla. ... 'Although Bettina and I have
been gone from Detroit about 10 years,
we still remember the good times we
had there. We remember our friends
and still consider Detroit our home-
town.
"I recently got my first computer and
as I was taking my first instructions, I
asked how I cold get the Jewish News
on the Internet and how I could be
updated on the news in Detroit —
especially your column.
"Bettina and I are both well and
enjoy our good life in Florida. I'm still
playing golf and tennis. We enjoy our
new friends, play bridge and eat out
seven days a week. Plus, I also write a
column called Jax Sez for our club
magazine.
