LINDA SUZANNE EMMER, 54, of

Santa Clarita, Calif., formerly of
Detroit, died July 28, 2003.
She is survived by her husband,
Louis Emmer; mother, Marie Ebranyi;
daughter, Sarah Emmer; brother,
Duane Ebranyi of Lincoln Park; sister
and brother-in-law, Sharon and Bob
Haywood of Las Vegas, Nev.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice. Interment at
Hebrew Memorial Park. Arrange-
ments by Hebrew Memorial Chapel.

LENORA "LEE" GUREWITZ, 91,

former long-time resident of Benton
Harbor, died July 26, 2003, in
Rockville, Md. She was a very active
member of Temple B'nai Shalom in
Benton Harbor for over 24 years. She
also worked in the office of the Twin
Cities Symphony before moving to
Chicago in 1965 after the death of
her husband, Al.
In Chicago, Mrs. Gurewitz worked
for Weinstein Brothers Funeral
Chapels until her retirement and
move to Rockville 1989.
She is survived by her daughter and
son-in-law, Sharon and Leonard
Cooper of Potomac, Md.; son and
daughter-in-law, Harold and Mary
Ellen Gurewitz of Detroit; grandchil-
dren, Alanna Cooper and Moshe
Shapiro of Boston, Mass., Benjamin
and Michelle Cooper of Teaneck, N.J.,
Ziva and Daniel Wachter of Ann
Arbor and Abraham Gurewitz of
Detroit; great-grandchildren, Avi, Akiva
and Rebecca Cooper; sister, Edith
Felzer of Lincolnwood, Ill.; brother, Dr.
David Silverman of Fresno, Calif.
