HEROES Or HEALTHY LIVING

OVER STORY

G

ood health is not something to be taken for granted.
For some people, genetics plays a role. For others, it's
a matter of lifestyle choices.
Still, when ill health strikes, some see it as a call to action.
That's exactly how two heroes filling the pages of our new
Healthy Living section see it. Journalist Sheryl Silver turned
her grief following her sister's death into a campaign to
heighten awareness of ovarian cancer. Neurologist Joel Saper
of Ann Arbor celebrates 25 years running the nation's first
comprehensive head pain treatment and research center.
Both want to prevent suffering. Find their stories, in
Healthy Living, which begins on page 66.
