her family. And they paid her
back with the same love and
devotion that she showered on them.
"My mother wasn't the president of a
company or the chair of any group," said
her son, Dr. Scott Glickman. "But things
were good when she was around."
Mrs. Glickman was a board member
of the National Council of Jewish
Women and spent every Monday work-
ing with the organization's Meals On
Wheels program. Among her other
activities, she planned the sisterhood's
Women's World event at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek, was on the board of sis-
terhood, volunteered for Jewish Home
and Aging Services and was a member
of Women's American ORT.

In a speech tided, simply, "Eulogy for
Mom," Scott Glickman told the atten-
dees at his mother's July 14 funeral that
his mother would never truly be gone.
"She lives inside each of us as the good,
compassionate, altruistic, gentle spirit
that strengthens the fabric of our souls."
Brenda Glickman is survived by her
husband, Dr. Steven Glickman; son and
daughter-in-law, Dr. Scott and Nicky
Glickman of Huntington Woods;
daughter, Stacy Glickman of Texas;
mother, Frances Miller of West
Bloomfield; brothers and sisters-in-law,
Dr. Bernard and Nancy Miller of
Dearborn, Dr. Howard and Andi Miller
of Arizona; mother-in-law, Martha
Glickman; sister-in-law and brother-in-
law, Cathy and Gerald Katz.
She was the loving daughter of the
late Harry Miller; dear daughter-in-law
of the late Norman Glickman.
Interment was at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be made
to the Brenda Faith Glickman Fund at
Gilda's Club. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.
