New Arrivals

Jan. 24
Kara (Friedman) and A.J. Weiner of
Beverly Hills are proud to announce the
birth of their son, Charles Landon
(fliezer Lable). Annette Friedman of
West Bloomfield welcomes with joy her
first grandchild and Karen and Jerry
Weiner of West Bloomfield are equally
thrilled by the arrival of their fourth
grandson. Charlie is named in loving
memory of his maternal grandfather Lee
Friedman and his paternal great-grandfa-
ther Leonard Colby.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Dayna Rachel
Campbell, daughter
of Scott and Joanne
Campbell, will-cele-
brate her bat mitz-
vah Saturday, June
28, at Congregation
Shir Tikvah. She is
the grandchild of
Gilbert and Faye
Golaner.
Dayna is an honor student at
Berkshire Middle School in
Birmingham. She plays clarinet in the
school band and enjoys being in
school musicals. She also enjoys play-
ing soccer, basketball, spending time
with friends and attending Tamarack
Camps. For her mitzvah project, she
enjoyed volunteering in the autistic
impaired classroom at her elementary
school. Dayna's most meaningful
mitzvah project was the shoe drive she
organized. Altogether, she collected
368 pairs of shoes and donated them
to the Salvation Army and the Jewish
Family Service.

Dylan Maxwell
Schaefer, son of
Jodi and Paul
Schaefer and
Katherine Schaefer,
will celebrate his
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, June 28,
at Temple Israel.
His brothers are
Matthew and Evan and his sister is
Bebe. His grandparents are Rhea and
Karl Schaefer and Nancy and Christ
Smardgeff.
Dylan attends East Middle School
in Farmington Hills. His interests are
in theater, sci-fi and video games. As
part of his mitzvah projects, he donat-
ed funds to the Make-A-Wish
Foundation, hoping to help children
who are ill.

nominations shall be valid unless the nominee shall
have consented to be a candidate in writing either in
the petition or in a separate written document filed
with the Chief Executive Officer not less than 45 days
prior to the date of the Annual Meeting.
