An alumnus of Central High School, he graduated from the University of Michigan and then served as a Navy offi- Ginsberg cer in the Pacific during World War II. He was wounded and retired from the Navy after rehabilitation at Great Lakes Naval Hospital. Mr. Ginsberg was a steel executive, having founded American Steel Corp. He was also a traveler and visited six continents and made visits to Easter Island, the North Pole and Antarctica.
