best banquet shows yet by MJSF.
IT'S USUALLY wall-to-wall people
and a waiting list on the busiest day of
the week ... But Pepino's in Walled
Lake will be closed Saturday, June 21.
The entire family will be at the mar-
riage of Nicholas Bernardi, son of Don
and Lila Bernardi ... so there'll be
nobody to watch the store ... since
Pepino's is a very staunch family-
owned-and-operated restaurant.
TOBY'S TO GO that was sup-
posed to open at Feldbros Meats
before it closed in Farmington Hills,
never did happen ... Seems that owner
Allan Feldman sort of knew he was
going to retire and shut the doors.
WHEN HE OPENS his new
restaurant ... and you can bet that he
will ... Mickey Bakst, former maitre d'
and manager of Tribute in Farmington
Hills can be looked upon to make it a
very upscale operation ... on a par or
even more top drawer than Tribute.
REUNION DEPT ... 1955 grads of
Bagley Elementary School in Detroit
