of their children Heather Ann Hawley
and Allen Eli Austin.
Heather earned her bachelor of arts
degree in social work from Eastern
Michigan University and her master's
degree in social work from Wayne State
University. She continued her education
at the University of California Los
Angeles with a teaching credential in
adult education and is a career adviser
for the Los Angeles United School
District.
Allen earned his bachelor of arts
degree in psychology from the
University of California Riverside and
his doctor of optometry degree from the
Southern California College of

Optometry. He is an optometrist in pri-
vate practice in Orange County.
A July wedding is planned at the
Hotel Baronette in Novi.

of their daughter Staci Erin to
Jamie Lewis, son of Mollie Wittenberg
of Huntington Woods and Howard
Wittenberg of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Staci earned her bachelor's degree in
communications from Michigan State
University. She is completing her mas-
ter's degree in education at Wayne State
University and teaches first grade in
Detroit.
Jamie earned his bachelor's degree in
public affairs from Indiana University in
Bloomington and a juris doctor from
Wayne State University. He is a prose-
cuting attorney for Wayne County.
An August wedding is planned at
Temple Israel.
