Mentors and youth spend time together doing activities-they both enjoy. The next JFS mentor training is set for Monday, June 23, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the JFS main office, 24123 Greenfield Road, Southfield. Mentors commit to visiting with the child/teen on a consistent basis for at least one year. The interactions can be weekly or 13i-weekly, depending on the mentor's schedule.
