The Jewish FaMily Service mentor
program matches adults with children
and teens. Mentors and youth spend
time together doing activities-they
both enjoy.
The next JFS mentor training is set
for Monday, June 23, 6:30-8:30 p.m.,
at the JFS main office, 24123
Greenfield Road, Southfield.
Mentors commit to visiting with the
child/teen on a consistent basis for at
least one year. The interactions can be
weekly or 13i-weekly, depending on the
mentor's schedule.
