Elbing,-er, vice-chair; Jake Braslaw, treasurer.
Additional executive coirunittee members include: Irvvin Alterman, David
Bittker, Arthur Siegal, Paula Goldman-Spinner and Sherry Kanter. Goldman-
Spinner received the Milan Award for her exceptional service to BBYO.
Those serving as delegates-at-large on the Board until 2004 are: Irwin Alterman,

Plisko, Micky Rosner, Pain Salba, Arthur Siegal, Rob Starkman, Steve Sussman,

Summer Study

Adat Shalom
Hosts Seniors

The Alliance for Jewish Education in
Bloomfield Hills will offer a variety of
conversational Hebrew classes for stu-
dents who wish to study Hebrew in the
summer. There will be classes on various
levels: beginner plus, intermediate,
advanced intermediate and advanced.
New students will be individually
assessed and placed in a class that best
fits their level.
These classes, taught by Nira Lev
and Tziona Ragowsky, will meet begin-
ning June 16, for five weeks. There is a
fee and a minimum registration is
required.
The summer program also includes
Judaica courses. For information, con-

Area seniors are invited to join Adat
Shalom seniors 12:30 p.m. Thursday,
June 26, at the synagogue.
Michael Krieger will perform "Songs
You Know and Love ... and Then
Some." His company, Celebration
Songs, creates personalized songs for all
occasions. He also teaches voice and
entertains at area hospitals, senior resi-
dences and hospice facilities.
There is a $9 charge for members of
Adat Shalom's ChaZaKaH/Young at
Heart seniors group and a $10 fee for
non-members. Checks should be mailed
