and Frank Yap of Honolulu, Hawaii.
Sharlene graduated from Occidental
College in Los Angeles before complet-
ing her dental degree at Nova
Southeastern University in Ft.
Lauderdale, Fla. She completed her resi-
dency in pediatric dentistry and is in
private practice in Boca Raton, Fla.
Jeffrey graduated from Michigan State
University before completing his dental
degree at Nova Southeastern University.
He is completing his residency in peri-
odontics and implant dentistry.
A July wedding is planned at the Ritz-
Carlton, Dearborn.

of science degree in political science.
He is a senior loan consultant at
Quicken Loans.
Karen graduated summa cum laude
from Rosemont College in Rosemont,
Pa., with a bachelor of arts degree in
interpersonal communications and
anthropology. She also received a mas-
ter's degree in social work and a cer-
tificate in Jewish communal leadership
from the University of Michigan and
the Sol Drachler program in Jewish
Communal Leadership. She is the
director of admissions at the
Fleischman Residence/Jewish Home

and Aging Services in West
Bloomfield.
