Donald is the grandson of Natalie Hadesman and the late Dr. Donald Hadesman, Helen Zoia and the late Frank Zoia and Virginia Blackport. Donald is a seventh-grader at Cranbrook Boys Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. He plays on the bas- ketball team at Cranbrook and also on the Franklin Wolves travel team. He plays tennis, baseball and enjoys attending professional sports competi- tions. For a mitzvah project, Donald volunteered at Gleaners Food Bank in Detroit. Danielle Fay Klavons (Divora Siporra) will be called to the Torah to celebrate her bat mitzvah on Saturday, June 7, at Temple Emanu-El. She is the daughter of Barbara Gordon-Klavons and Russell Klavons and sister of Erica. Proud grandparents are Ruth and William Gordon of Boca Raton, Fla., and Lorraine and Richard Betson of Southfield. Danielle is an honor student at East Middle School in Farmington Hills, where she plays the French horn in the school band. Her interests include softball, track, skiing and playing football on the boys' football team. For a mitzvah project, she helped other students at the math academy at Lanigan Elementary and helped at Temple Emanu-El's Safety Town pro- gram. Jaimie Michelle Lowen was called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, May 31, at Temple Shir Shalom. Her proud parents are Gayle and Barton Lowen. Sharing in the simchah were grandmother Evelyn Lowen and great-aunt Frances Koppelman. Jaimie is also the grand- daughter of the late Seymour Lowen and the late Esther and Norman Stillman. Jaimie is an honor student at Walled Lake Middle School.
