Zachary Andrew
Abramson will be
called to the Torah as a
bar mitzvah on
Saturday, June 7, at
Temple Beth El.
Participating in the cer-
emony will be his very
proud parents, Susan
and Marc Abramson, his grandmother
Rhea Klein, his aunt Dr. Robin Siman,
his uncle Daniel Abramson, his cousin
Rory Siman and several of his favorite
religious and elementary school teach-
ers. Zach is also the grandson of the late
Stanley Klein and the late Dorothy and
Israel Abramson.
Zach attends Berkshire Middle
School in Birmingham. He enjoys corn-
puter games and hip-hop music. His
most meaningful mitzvah projects
included singing with the Temple Beth
El Adult Choir and dancing for the resi-
dents at Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield. He also donated food and
toys to Leader Dogs for the Blind in
Rochester.

Alexandrea Sarah
Banks, daughter of
Terrie Wein Banks and
sister of Nicholas,
Brendan and Jacob, will
celebrate her bat mitz-
vah on Saturday, June
7, at Temple Israel. She
is the grandchild of
Susan DeSutter and Jack Wein. She is
also the grandchild of the late Thomas
DeSutter.
Alexandrea attends Walnut Creek
Middle School in Walled Lake.
Basketball, softball, soccer, singing and
dancing are among her interests and
hobbies. She enjoyed, as part of her
mitzvah project, working at Temple
Israel as a volunteer.

Corey Ian Berkowitz,
kin of BJ and Gary
Berkowitz and brother
of Michael and Robyn,
will celebrate his bar
mitzvah on Friday, June
6, at Temple Israel. His
proud grandparents are
Harry Ludwin and
Betty Berkowitz. He is also the grand-
child of the late Rose Ludwin, the late
Gerald Berkowitz and the late Myra
Berkowitz.
Attending West Hills Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills, Corey enjoys all
sports, especially basketball and baseball.
He also enjoys playing the drums. He

worked with Meer Apartments resi-
dents in West Bloomfield on their
fund-raiser as part of his mitzvah proj-
ects and found that to be a very mean-
ingful experience.

Amanda Karr
Goldstone will be
called to the Torah as a
bat mitzvah on
Saturday, June 7, at
Congregation Shaarey
Zedek West
Bloomfield, B'nai
Israel Center. She is
the daughter of Stacey and Ronnie
Goldstone and sister of Andrew and
Jillian. Proud grandparents are BI e ,
and Martie Karr and Rita and P.

Goldstone. Also sharing in

"Bubba" Lesson.
Amanda is a double honor _
at Hillel Day School of Metro: -
Detroit in Farmington Hills, \N he
she plays on the tennis team. She also
enjoys skiing, spending time with fam-
ily and friends and going to summer
camp. Amanda's mitzvah projects
include volunteering at Farmington
Hills-based JARC and the Plant-a-Tree
for Ilan Ramon Program. She also
earned money to purchase toys and
patient items at the University of
Michigan Pediatric Congenital Heart
Center in Ann Arbor.

Ienn.a Brooke
Guntmacher will be
called to the Torah as a
bat mitzvah on
Saturday, June 7, at
Congregation Shaarey
Zedek Southfield. She
is the daughter of
Susan and Robert
Guntmacher. Loving grandparents are
Ethel and Benjamin Siegal of West
Bloomfield.
Jenna is a seventh-grade honor stu-
dent at Walnut Creek Middle School
in Walled Lake. She has been active in
school politics and is a member of the
school choir. She spends her summers
at Camp Walden in Cheboygan and
enjoys singing and dancing. Her mitz-
vah projects include volunteer work at
Shaarey Zedek's Beth Hayeled nursery
school and time spent with seniors at
Danto Family Health Care Center and
Fleischman Residence, both in West
Bloomfield.

Donald Blake Hadesman of Bingham
Farms will be called to the Torah as a
bar mitzvah at Temple Shir Shalom on
Saturday, June 7, He is the son of Dr.
