These resulted in the creation of municipal cemeteries instead of burials on family-owned land. A "suitable" container was required, so workers would not haVe to touch a person who died inexplicably. Arrangements by Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel in Orlando. DR MILTON YOLLES, 60, of Maui, Hawaii, died June 2, 2003. Born in Detroit, Dr. Yolles graduated from Mumford High School in 1961. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1966, followed by his medical degree from Wayne State Yolles University in 1971. After medical school, he settled in, and spent his career in Hawaii. Dr. Yolles was a nationally respected pathologist. He published articles and research studies in leading journals and spoke at medical conferences and helped establish the first pathology practice in Maui, Hawaii. Dr. Yolles was board cer- tified in both clinical and anatomical pathology. He was a past president of the Maui Branch of the Hawaii Medical Association and a member of the American Association of Medical Review Officers. Dr. Yolles is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Heather and David Wittenberg of Maui, Hawaii; Nora Yolles of San Francisco, P.J. Yolles of Chicago; brother and sister-in-law, Murray and Elinor Yolles of Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren, Daniella and Jacob Wittenberg. He was the son of the late Paul and Betty Yolles.
