He owned Dick's Toytown on Wyoming, leaving there to serve as manager and supervisor for the Schifrin Willens jewelry chain. In California, he joined Sterling Merchandise and served as vice president of Rycus operations. Following his retirement, Mr. Rycus volunteered at the blood bank, served with the Sheriff's department, checking on sen- iors, and performed valuable services with the police department. Mr. Rycus is survived by his wife, Faye (Bean) Rycus; children, Michael, Lisa Ann and Eric (Lisa Marie Nelson); grandchildren, Cheyenne and Jacob; sisters and brother-in-law, Zelda Rose, Bernice and Donald Paschke. He was the loving brother- in-law of the late Milton Rose; loving brother of the late Lionel and Miriam Rycus. Memorial services were held in California June 1.
