the engagement of their children,
Rachel Beth Kornfeld and Steven
Aaron Raimi.
Steve earned a master of business
administration degree from Oakland
University and is a business systems
analyst with Ajilon Inc.
Rachel works for the Detroit
Orientation Institute at Wayne State
University, where she is earning a
master's degree in public relations.
A September wedding is planned
at Glen Oaks in Farmington Hills.

engagement of their daugh-
ter Annie Beth to Ryan Howard, son
of Stephen and Maxine McLennan
of Highland Park, Ill.
Annie received her undergraduate
degree from the University of
Michigan and her law degree from
Northwestern University School of
Law in Evanston, Ill. She is an asso-
ciate at Sidley Austin Brown &
Wood in Chicago.
Ryan received his undergraduate
degree from Vanderbilt University in
Nashville, Tenn., and his law degree
from Northwestern University
School of Law. He is an associate at
Chapman and Cutler in Chicago.
A July wedding is planned at
Temple Israel.

aryn Joanne Weingarden
and Dennis Martin
Devaney were recently
married at Temple Emanu-
El. Rabbi Joseph Klein and Cantor
Norman Rose officiated.
Caryn is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Marshall Weingarden of
Huntington Woods and Mr. and
Mrs. William S. Bush III of San
Antonio, Texas. Dennis the son of
the late Dorothy and the late Peter
Devaney.
Joining the couple under the
chuppah were matron of honor
Corinne Roudebush and best man
Terry Devaney, brother of the
groom. Also beside them were
bridesmaids Aimee Baskovic, Jill
Marschinke, Beverly Martin and
Sarah Weingarden. Groomsmen
were Robert Battista, Philip Pulizz
Jr., John Raudabaugh and Donald
Roudebush.
Caryn is proud to wear the wed-
ding band belonging to her grand-
mother Henrietta Weingarden, a
tribute to her grandparents' 58 years
of happiness. The newlyweds
enjoyed a wonderful honeymoon in
Italy.

Cohen were married at
Adat Shalom Synagogue.
Rabbi Daniel Nevins and
Cantors Howard Glantz and Larry
Vieder officiated. The bride is the
daughter of Dr. Gordon and Susan
Shlom of West Bloomfield. The
groom is the son of Ronald and
Linda Cohen, also of West
Bloomfield.
Sarah Sherman was matron of
honor. The maid of honor was Toby
Warnick. Flower girl was Halley
Nathan. Bridesmaids were Suzanne
Shlom, Dayna Greener and
Francesca Berg.
The best man was Adam Cohen,
brother of the groom. Ushers were
Adam Shlom, the bride's brother,
Garrett Carter, Jeremy Buschmohle,
Josh Boren, Michael Boren, Mike
Ruggles, Neil Sherman, Michael
Levitz and Scott Levitz. Ring bearers
were Andrew Nathan and Jack
Rudin.
Samara and Nathan were blessed
to have grandparents Bess and Sid
Warnick, Marion and Philip Shlom
and Ruth and Manfred Lehman
share in their joy. Following a hon-
eymoon at the Grand Hotel, the
couple reside in West Bloomfield.
