Jillian is a double honor student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. She
enjoys tennis, skiing, water-skiing,
reading, writing and spending time
with friends. Her mitzvah projects
included volunteering at Yad Ezra in
Berkley, Fleischman Residence in
West Bloomfield, JARC in
Farmington Hills and at a Teddy Bear
Drive for Orchard Children's Services
in Southfield.

Alexander Scott
Levine will be called
to the Torah as a bar
mitzvah Saturday,
May 31, at
Congregation Shaarey
Zedek Southfield. He
is the son of Caren
Landau and Jeffrey
Levine and brother of Erica and
Michael. Proud grandparents are
Joanne and Leslie Levine, and Del
Landau. He is also the grandson of
the late Alfred Landau. His great-
grandmother Jennie Kwaselow will
also participate in the simchah.
Alex is an honor student at Orchard
Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. His interests include gui-
tar, aggressive in-line skating and
reading. He enjoys spending summers
at Camp Walden in Cheboygan. His
mitzvah projects included volunteer-
ing at Yad Ezra in Berkley, visiting
with JARC residents and assisting in
Federation activities.

Rebecca Ann
Liebman will be
called to the Torah as
a bat mitzvah Sunday,
June 1, at
Congregation Shaarey
Zedek West
Bloomfield, B'nai
Israel Center. She is
the daughter of Mindy and Jonathan
Liebman and the late Stephen
Farndon and the sister of Josh, Emily
and Adam. Rebecca's proud grandpar-
ents are Ceil and Jerry Liebman of
Southfield and Julie and Cecil
Rochwerg of Toronto. Her proud

great-grandmother is Sophie
Rochwerg of Toronto.
Rebecca is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. Her interests
include ice skating, playing the piano,
dancing, drawing and writing stories.
Her mitzvah projects included volun-
teer work at Shaarey Zedek West
Bloomfield, B'nai Israel Center, the
Felischman Residence in West
Bloomfield, the West Bloomfield
Nursing and Convalescent Center and
the Meer Jewish Apartments in West
Bloomfield.

Sophia Michelle
Orbach of
Huntington Woods
will be called to the
Torah as a bat mitz-
vah on Saturday, May
31, at Congregation
Beth Shalom. She is
the daughter of Linda
Orbach-Shear and Brian Shear and
Sherry and Geoffrey Orbach; sister of
Rachel, Keren, Lauren, Peter, Max
and Eric; granddaughter of Judith and
Henry Orbach, Eileen and Harvey
Gross and Betty and Meyer Shear.
Sophia is an honor student at
Norup Middle School in Oak Park, a
member of the student council, year-
book committee and Norup Choir.
She enjoys reading, music and spend-
ing summers at Tamarack Camps.
Her most meaningful mitzvah proj-
ects included volunteering for Meals
on Wheels and at Ronald McDonald
House and participating in the Red
Magen David Project.

Megan Leigh
Passman will cele-
brate her bat mitzvah
at Havdalah services
Saturday, May 31, at
Temple Israel. She is
the daughter of
Patricia and Daniel
Passman and sister of
Michael. Her proud grandparents are
Virginia and Stanley Warren and
Joyce and Howard Passman.
Megan, an honor student, attends
Warner Middle School in Farmington
Hills. Her favorite activities are danc-
ing, skiing and spending summers at
Camp Tanuga in Kalkaska. She volun-
teered to work at the Michigan Jewish
Sports Hall Foundation induction
dinner as part of her mitzvah projects.
