HEDWIG COSKEY WIENER, 98,
of Bloomfield Hills, died May 10,
2003. She was a member of the
Sinai Hospital Women's Guild,
where she had 20,000 hours of
community service.
Mrs. Wiener is survived by her
son and daughter-in-law, Richard L.
and Jo Coskey of Bloomfield Hills;
daughter-in-law, Carol Coskey, and
her husband, Dr. Norman
Wechsler; grandchildren, Irwin and

Kathy Coskey, Adrienne and
Randall Gordon, Laura and Joseph
Molina, Dr. Larry and Kay Coskey,
Dr. Michael and Debra Raizman,

Albert A. Wiener and the late Leo

JAMES H. WINEMAN, 90, of
West Bloomfield, died May 9,
2003. He attended Detroit Country
Day School, Detroit University
School and graduated from
Highland Park
High School. In
1934, he gradu-
ated from the
University of
Michigan with a
bachelor of arts
degree. During
World War II,
Mr. Wineman
served as an
officer in the
Wineman
U.S. Army.
Mr. Wineman
was chairman of the Wineman
Investment Co., a family owned
real estate and investment firm. He
Was also a director of Northern
States Bancorporation and City
National Bank of Detroit. He was
also a director emeritus of the
Automobile Club of Michigan, hav-
ing served for 15 years including
being chairman from 1980-1981.
Many community and civic
organizations benefited from Mr.
Wineman's membership and partici-
pation. He was a member of the
National Advisory Council of the
Automobile Association, a member
of the advisory committee of the
Detroit chapter of the Archives of
American Art and was its president
from 1960-1971. In addition, Mr.
Wineman was a former president
and board chair of the Central
Business District Association.
He is survived by his wife,
Constance Wineman; son and
daughter-in-law, Henry and Trudi
Wineman II of Bloomfield Hills;
daughter, Connie Jacob of Franklin;
daughter-in-law, Jennifer "Duffy"
