Detroiter of Lake Worth, Fla., died
May 2, 2003. Born in Rechytsa,
Russia, she came to Detroit in 1922
and moved to Florida in 1977. She
was a member of Temple Beth
Tikvah in Lake Worth and a life
member of Hadassah who was very
active in the Jewish community.
Mrs. Kapetansky is survived by
her son and daughter-in-law, Dr.
Fred and Audrey Kapetansky of
Columbus, Ohio; brother, Fred
Somkin of Ithaca, N.Y.; sister,
Mona Somkin of West Bloomfield;
daughters-in-law, Susan King of
Lake Worth, Nedra Kapetansky of
West Bloomfield; 11 grandchildren;
18 great-grandchildren. She was the
beloved wife of the late Dr. Nathan
Kapetansky; loving mother of the
late Larry King and the late Donald
Kapetansky; sister of the late
Marjorie Brock; grandmother of the
late Robert Kapetansky.
Services were held in West Palm

Beach, Fla. Contributions may be

Lake Worth or the Israel Emergency
