arcy Lefkowitz, Paula Silver and Lori Wachler, friends from Huntington Woods, are all about embellishing. Their unique ornamentations are designed to beautify even the most ordinary of essen- tials. Like key rings. They personalize the old- fashioned, oversized ring with charms befit- ting the recipient. The "I Love Mom" key- keeper, for example, features dainty silver charms, including a purse, cell phone, heart, credit card and flower. A miniature desk, school bus, book, apple and daisy dangle from the "Teacher" key ring. Other themed rings include the "Graduate," the "Golfer," the "Hair Stylist" and "Sweet 16." All are enhanced with colorful glass beads and retail for $35. Need to keep track of your reading glasses? Leflwwitz, Silver and Wachler also design Eye-Catchers, eyeglass necklaces strung with crystals and sterling silver beads ($20-$60). "We're all close friends and were looking for a fun, creative business," says Silver. "Marcy has a graphic arts background, Lori's into beads and jewelry and my background is in corporate communications. We put our heads together and came up with Embellish." What's next? The trio is developing a line of crystal-embellished chiffon scarves and beaded decorative evening bags. , lot • :1 —Linda Bachrack I It% 40 IN k AN EXQUISITE ♦ • • • • • • Embellish creations are available at Imelda's Closet, Birmingham; Sundance Shoes, West Bloomfield; and About Face Salon, Royal Oak. ou tortu EUROPEAN DESIGN STUDIO/SHOPPE, Contact IJA /ior dour interior design con/satation.
