There will be 17 acts and 10 fine artists showcasing their work. The visual arts show begins at 1 p.m. with the variety show starting at 1:30 p.m. The show is held in honor of Older Americans Month. The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit's ElderLink is the event's sponsor. Carol Rosenberg, associate director of Jewish Home and Aging Services, serves as show director. ElderLink provides a continuum of care for older adults in the community through partner agencies, Jewish Apartments & Services, Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit, Jewish Family Service, Jewish Home and Aging Services and JVS. "We are doing this show to let the community see what magnificent talent our seniors have," says Rosenberg about the participants, all ages 62 and over. "Proceeds will go to the Dorothy and Peter Brown Jewish Community Adult Day Care Program." Rose Morgan will lead the Rose Morgan Singers in selections for the times. "I chose 'Let There Be Peace on Earth' because of the issues our country is fac- ing," says Morgan, who recently turned 89. Daniel Hoffer, a retiree who has played the harmonica as a hobby, will be presenting a classical piece. "I saw a notice and thought I would audition," says Hoffer. "I've enjoyed being part of this."
