The Jewish Family Service Mentor
Program matches responsible, caring
adults with children and teens for the
purpose of increasing their self-
esteem, providing a role model and
being a friend.
The next JFS mentor training is set
for Monday, May 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
at the JFS main office, 24123
Greenfield Road, Southfield.
Mentors commit to visiting with
the child/teen on a consistent basis for
at least one year. The visiting can be
weekly or bi-weekly, depending on
the mentor's schedule.

Bloomfield. He will speak on "The

and the subject of Israel in the
news.

Restaurant. Rose's presentation is
the keynote event in the
Birmingham Eccentric's 125th
anniversary celebration. In lieu of
an admission charge, donations to
the Israel Emergency Campaign will
be appreciated.
