"The success of
our business from
a little party store
into a major

due in part to our
advertising in the
Jewish News and
the wonderful
support it has
always given us."

"Because of our

Alan Shawn Feinstein, a Rhode Island philanthropist,
is encouraging food banks across the country to raise money for the

Feinstein Challenge
Against Hunger

The Food Bank of Oakland County, serving 200 emergency food pantries,
shelters, and soup kitchens (including Yad Ezra, J.A.R.C., and Mishkan Israel)
has accepted Mr. Feinstein's challenge! Here are Mr. Feinstein's rules:
• All checks must be dated for by April 31, 2003
• All checks must be at least $25 or more
• All checks must be payable to the Food Bank of Oakland County

Our goal: $200,000 -- Since March 1st, we have raised: $131,000

We need your assistance to meet our goal and we only have a few short weeks
to go. Please help us to make a difference today

*The amount we receive from Mr. Feinstein will be determined by the
amount we raise in relation to other participating food banks.
