Yom HaShoah

A chartered bus will go to Lansing to
the Yom HaShoah ceremonies at the
Michigan Capitol Wednesday, April 30.
Holocaust survivors are invited to
attend the ceremonies; the bus is free.
Survivors will be honored; their pho-
tographs from the "Portraits of Honor"
exhibit will be displayed and their biog-
raphies read. Lunch will be served after
the ceremonies.

metro Detroit State of Israel Bonds
Women's Division in recognition of
her outstanding and continued sup-
port of the State of Israel, the corn-
munity and the Israel Bonds cam-
paign. The tribute
will be at a Diamond

Minister's Club cock-
tail reception 7:30
p.m. Tuesday, May 6,
at the home of Nancy
and Dr. Joseph
Jacobson.
The event, chaired
Isakow
by Harriet Orley and
Melba Winer, will be
attended by current State of Israel
Bonds purchasers of $10,000 or more
and friends, colleagues and family of
the honoree. Nolan Finley, Detroit
News editorial page editor, will speak.
Isakow serves on the boards of the
Jewish Federation, Hebrew Free Loan,
Ecumenical Institute of Jewish-
Christian Studies and Anti-
Defamation League. She chaired the
2001 Anti-Defamation League
Woman of Achievement award din-
ner. She is a member of the Planned
Parenthood luncheon and patron
committees.
