Despite unpredictable economic stres- sors and political unrest, generous gifts from members of our commu- nity have enabled Kadima to open five new homes, bringing us to a total of nineteen living environments to provide Kadima clients with stability, safety and a sense of ownership and pride; qualities so often foreign to those with psychiatric disabilities. Our clients have many opportunities to live productive and gratifying lives. With an 87% employment rate, Kadima clients experience a variety of activi- ties and support services to ensure a sense of productivity. Through the generosity of Kadima supporters and the expert and caring Kadima staff, each client lives in an environment and commu- nity to maintain dignity, respect, and individual values. In an effort to expand needed services, we held our first annual golf event this past June. Proceeds from this event allowed us to forge ahead with plans for the Lois and Milton Zussman Drop-In Center. The facility will not only encourage socialization and new skills, but it will be a therapeutic wellness center focusing on healing and peace of mind. Watch your mail for information on this year's golf outing scheduled for July 14th. Join us for a fun-filled day and help this dream become a reality.
