ack Halperin, the oldest resi-
dent of the Trowbridge senior
retirement community, cele-
brated his 107th birthday
with a party on March 11. Among his
well-wishers were fellow Trowbridge
residents and Jack's 81-year-old
nephew, Robert Halperin, and his
grandson Mark Kahn. Mr. Halperin is
an active figure at the retirement com-
munity, where most afternoons he can
be found engrossed in a book in the
greenhouse.
